FAITH AND FREEDOM Genesis 1: records,” let us make man after our likeness, in His own image, Male and female made He them. ” Gen.1:26, 27
God, the Father- of the universe, is total Love. He is not two separate deities, but the fullness of Love in the one creator of the perfect universe. God wanted children after his own likeness, so He formed man and woman after Him. He needed children to love Him back. His love would be all they needed as He does not spare blessings to His children. He created man and woman, not one person, but two, so they could also share His love with each other, beautiful, perfect beings. He made a paradise for them to dwell in. He needed to be Loved as reflection, from the children of His image. He also formed all species, of every plant and animal, male, and female, even the plants of the field, all to bless the children of His creating. For His loved children to know His love, He would have to give them free will. The first and only of all creation to exercise free, will. Because He is the first and the last, and forever, He knows all things. He knew with free will, His children may chose to live outside of His will. If they did so they would encounter a hard journey back into His perfection, or paradise. Under free will they would be empowered with the ability to choose what they believe and this would be their reality. Adam and Eve chose to dwell in an atmosphere of self knowledge, not after God’s knowledge, nor his likeness. The apple on the tree in the midst of the garden is symbolic of the temptations of good that would, by choice make them as little gods, personal creators of an imperfect atmosphere, temporal and disruptive. In this atmosphere of the deceptions of good and evil, they would experience the vacuum of not knowing the Love and blessings of God. They would experience the pleasures of the sins of the flesh and the sword of unrighteousness. It was a total mental separation from eternal Life, into the possibility of eternal darkness. Thus they were cast out of perfection to live as they willed. In this choice they are found to be living in a world of sin filled knowledge. It had the appearance of good in all that it offered, but that delusion separated them from the paradise God provided for them, free from the destructions of self will. As a man and woman in His image, and likeness, they would have to be redeemed from their darkness of trials and tribulations. His spirit in them would have to be rekindled, nourished and protected. God's plan would save them from total destruction from the disruptive influences they would encounter in their world of sin, and time.
2nd part: Faith and Freedom In Adam and Eve’s choice to be as gods, by choseing to live outside of God’s will, they would experience the calamities of a sin filled experience. God would have to nourish the spirit of righteousness in Adam's seed for His remnant to survive the calmatives of sin. He would nourish this spirit of yielding self will to His perfect will through those willing to follow in His will. He would nourish the righteous seed, and use them to bring all of His children back into the paradise He created for them. This time they would not chose to live in sin, from the unhappy experiences, they encountered under the curse of sin Adam and Eve, expulsed from paradise, had two sons. One, Able saw the troubles forming because of their parents sin, so he made an offering to God. His offering of an unblemished lamb, would set up the salvation of the earth, from the curse of sin. It is prophetic of the fulfillment of the birth of God’s beloved son, Jesus, the lamb of God. He who will take the brutal wages of sin unto himself. This final offering of the unblemished specis of man, will break the curse of sin on earth, through healing, redemption, and reformation. Thus Jesus pays the price of our sins, in order to set mankind free, from the condemnation of sin. God was pleased with Abel’s offering. Cain on the other hand, chose to make an offering from the ground. Ground is symbolic of the fruits of sin, for it represents finite matter and its consequences of sin, disease, and its counterpart, death. From choosing to Live under the curse of sin, this unrighteous seed would resist Truth- God. This would cause a reign of terror, chaos and disruptions on a troubled earth for six thousand years. God did not accept Cain’s offering. Cain flew into a rage and slew his brother, Able. This is prophetic of the resistance of the sin filled evil nature of the rebellious, not to follow the path of righteousness, and these followers of evil would set the course of all of earth’s disruptive end times. The righteous element of God’s children is found in the journey of earth's people, from darkness (evil), into the light, of God-Truth, through the salvation Jesus brought into our darkness. Thus as Jesus declared, “I am the light of the world.’ KJV
NOAH The next recorded seed of righteous on earth appears in the life of Noah. Adam and Eve begat Seth, and from his seed, Noah. Seth’s linage would be the righteous element of God’s children in which Jesus is chosen to be born into the world of sin, for earth’s redemption. It says of these times of Noah, “all the people of earth did evil continually.” In Seth’s son, Noah,“God found a righteous heart. Noah talked with God, and he listened to Gods voice. He was willing to follow in God’s will. God warned Noah of the pending danger of a flood. Noah told the people, but they laughed at him, and scorned him. For one hundred and twenty years, Noah did as he was told and with his three sons they built a boat. This arc, was designed by God to protect the righteous element of mankind, from the coming destructive storm. This flood would beat upon the wages of sin, and annihilate everything in its path, except that which is protected by living under God’s will. cont:part 3
